The fast pace of life, stress, and accumulating issues can harm both psychological and physical health. The first signs include reduced productivity, a tense body, disrupted sleep, and even an imbalance within the body. A one-hour Swedish full-body massage helps restore energy and improve both emotional and physical well-being.
Swedish Full-Body Massage is Recommended for:
- High emotional or physical strain;
- Sleep disturbances;
- Reduced productivity;
- Physical overexertion;
- Improving or restoring overall well-being.
The massage involves five main techniques, each differing in application and effect:
- Stroking – The specialist uses this to get acquainted with the patient’s body, calm the nervous system, and prepare for further touch.
- Rubbing – Warms body tissues and prepares for deeper massage movements, using fingers, the base of the palm, forearms, or elbows.
- Kneading – Involves pressing, lifting, and releasing specific muscle groups, akin to physical exercise, which makes muscles contract. This technique targets muscles needing increased tone.
- Tapping – Uses the outer edge of the hand, fingertips, or a slightly bent palm to stimulate different muscle groups.
- Stretching – Enhances joint flexibility, muscle elasticity, and body flexibility, relieving the body from deep-seated tension.
Each technique is essential as it prepares the body for the next movement, and additional massage motions not only enrich the process but also improve the results.
Swedish Massage is Not Suitable for:
- Persistent high or low blood pressure;
- Epilepsy;
- Heart failure;
- Tuberculosis, among other conditions.
